New rural geographies in Europe: actors, processes, policies

We invite human geographers and social scientists from neighbouring disciplines to present and discuss research findings relating and relevant to the social and economic development of rural areas in Europe. The conference programme will consist of both oral presentations and a poster session. Poster presentations are particularly suitable to present work in progress and foster discussions and exchange among conference participants. We thus encourage particularly, but not only, junior scientists to present and discuss their current work and seize the opportunity to establish contacts with researchers from other European countries in their field.
